Music Ministries

The Bible encourages us over and over again to worship the Lord with music and singing. At Bethel Baptist Church we believe music and other arts play an important part in connecting our hearts and minds to the God who created us and loves us.

SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP

Our morning service blends contemporary and traditional music.  In all our worship gatherings, our goal is not to provide musical enjoyment, but to give people an opportunity to express their hearts to the Lord!

MUSIC MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES

Singers

Our Celebration Choir typically sings in morning worship services, performing a variety of special music and helping to lead the congregation in worship. The choir also prepares for special seasonal programs, usually in the spring and at Christmas time. Celebration Choir is open to anyone high school age and older who can carry a tune and wants to serve the Lord in music. Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m.

We also have vocalists who sing on our Worship Team on a rotating basis. Singers interested in serving on the worship team are encouraged to contact the worship pastor for an interview/audition.

Instrumentalists

We are always looking for people who can play instruments!  So please let us know if you play any instruments, we may have a place for you.

Technicians

Our worship ministry depends heavily on our technical crews who help behind the scenes, so you can be involved in our worship ministry even if you can’t sing or play an instrument! We need folks who can set-up and run our sound system, and we also use a lot of presentation software in our services (PowerPoint, MediaShout, etc.). We also have occasional needs for light technicians. If you would like to help in these important areas, computer and/or electronics skills are helpful, but we are certainly willing to train people who are committed to helping on a regular basis.
