Bethel Christian School is an exciting educational community in McMinnville, Oregon. Bethel currently has an enrollment of 168 students, and 15 faculty and staff, serving Preschool - Eighth Grade students. Bethel Christian School seeks to educate students from a biblical perspective, to challenge our students to excel in academics, and to encourage our students to maintain healthy social and emotional attitudes.

Our school seeks to encourage the spiritual growth of each child. In every grade, each day, our teachers open the bible up and challenge students to expand their faith in God. We use music, journals, and a variety of other methods to explain the eternal truths of God's word. We also have chapel services, music and special speakers which encourage our students to grow as a community of believers.

Our school community has children from over thirty churches and one hundred families. Our teachers represent a variety of churches and denominations as well. Our school has the great challenge of supporting each and every person where they are in their faith. Bethel Christian School offers an advanced Christian curriculum that challenges each student. Our professional educators work diligently to support each child's individual academic growth and development. Hands-on projects, field trips, and extra-curricular activities supplement and enrich our curriculum. Our curriculum is built upon three cornerstones which challenge our students to exhibit academic excellence.

Our teachers average 15 years in education and have the experience and knowledge to motivate each child to learn. They also have a deep commitment to the spiritual and social growth of each child.
2. High Standards for Academics and Behavior: Each student at Bethel will be expected to learn and grow to the fullest of their potential. Students will also be expected to learn to participate in our community with healthy relationships and attitudes.
3. Traditional Educational Practices combined with Proven Modern Methods: Bethel Christian School seeks to teach students from a balanced perspective. Each child at Bethel receives training in English Grammar, Literature, Mathematics, Science, History, Physical Education, and Spanish. Our instruction is a balance of traditional direct instruction and appropriate modern techniques for conveying information and values to students.
