Women’s Bible Studies
Wednesday – at 10:00 a.m. Doris Baker leads a study here at Bethel in the Fireside Room. They meet from September through November and again from January through March and study a variety of books of the Bible.

Thursday – at 9:30 a.m. Reba Sprecker leads a study that meets at her home. They meet from September through June, and study different topics and books of the Bible, using study guides.

There are also different studies that happen on a 6 – 8 week basis during the year.

All studies are open to women of all ages.

Women’s Missionary Fellowship
This group of women meets each month on the third Tuesday, at 10:00 a.m. here at Bethel in the Fireside Room. They prepare supplies for ministries overseas and at home. They fellowship while they work, and also have a prayer time for the missionaries each month. At noon they enjoy a salad luncheon, which is followed by a different interesting guest speaker each month.

Meal Ministry
This ministry is designed to come alongside the Sunday School classes to help provide meals for those in our church family with the arrival of a new baby, or who are going through a crisis—such as a severe illness, surgery, or death.

Women’s Four x Four
When you sign up to participate in this ministry, you will be assigned to a group of four women. Each woman will host a lunch, dinner, tea, or some other creative meal during the four months the groups meet. Each woman will determine the date and time she would like the group to come to her home for that month. This gives you four opportunities to meet and get to know ladies that you might only speak to casually at church. These groups meet at two times during the year—in the spring and in the fall. It is a wonderful way to get acquainted and build friendships with other women.

“Secret Sister”
Secret Sisters are chosen in September. You will be assigned your “Secret Sister”. She is someone you will pray for regularly, encourage through a card, a note, or other small things monthly, to let her know you care. You will be asked to fill out a short information form, so your “sister” will know some things about you.  In June, at our annual Ladies Strawberry Shortcake Social, your sister will be revealed.

Sewing for Jesus
Come and help make quilts and comforters for people in our community. We meet on the second Tuesday of the month from 1:30 to 5:00 p.m. in the Junior High Room at Bethel Baptist Church. For more information call Jeanne Weirich, 503-835-3023.
